Barcelona are ready to sell £135 million French forward Ousmane Dembele to Liverpool, according to the reports.
The exciting winger has only arrived at Nou Camp this summer but has yet to secure starting role in Ernesto Valverde’s starting XI following his hamstring injury at the start of his career with the Spanish giants.
The Ex-Borussia Dortmund forward suffered a hamstring injury on his debut for Barcelona.
Now, El Gol Digital has reported that the Catalan club are willing to sign Antoine Griezmann meaning that Dembele won’t have a chance to secure a starting spot at Nou Camp if Suarez remains in the club.
The arrival of his compatriot would push Dembele further down the pecking order, which could help Liverpool to lure him at Anfield ahead of the new season.
Dembele has managed 16 LaLiga games for Barcelona because of the injury, however, it has been reported that he could be sold this summer.
And that could be good news for Liverpool, who tracked the French forward during his time at Borussia Dortmund.
The Merseyside Reds head-coach Jurgen Klopp is a huge fan of Dembele and reportedly wants to lure him to Anfield.
