Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly planning to strengthen their offensive and head of the next season and ready to pip bitter rivals Arsenal in their pursuit of AC Milan winger Suso.
The Spain international forward has starred for Italian giants since joining them from Liverpool back in 2015, playing a direct part in 42 goals for AC Milan in Serie A in the last two-and-a-half campaign.
The 25-year-old forward has scored six goals and provided eight assists in all competitions for Gennaro Gattuso’s side this season and has been touted as a long-term transfer target for Arsenal who are expected to make few additions after the end of the current campaign.
According to The Mirror, however, the Gunners arch-rivals Spurs are also ready to reignite their interest in Spanish winger.
The report indicates that the Spurs interest in the versatile playmaker is likely to be stronger than the Gunners, and they are therefore considered the frontrunners to get the deal done for 25-year-old forward, who has a £35m release clause in his current deal.
Suso has recently admitted earlier this campaign that he would like to make a return to Premier League.
Meanwhile, Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal are also eyeing moves fo Ligue 1 in-form attacker Nicholas Pepe.
The 23-year-old winger has been in stunning form this season and has found back of the net 16-times this season helping the team to sit second in the Ligue 1 table 10 points separating from league leaders Paris Saint-Germain.
