Chelsea fans will not have been overjoyed to hear Eden Hazard’s latest comments on a possible switch to La Liga giants Real Madrid.
The Belgium international forward is having an excellent World Cup season after a disappointing domestic year with the Blues.
After six years at Chelsea Belgian star has found himself increasingly linked with a move to Real Madrid.
And the 27-year-old forward has done little to dampen the speculation with his latest comments about Real Madrid interest.
Hazard is a known to be a huge fan of Zinedine Zidane who stepped down as Los Blancos head-coach following their recent Champions League victory.
However, it seems that the Frenchman’s resignation has not stopped Hazard wanting to wear a famous white shirt.
“Does Real make me dream less without Zidane?” Hazard told beIN SPORTS.
“Zidane is someone special, it’s true, but I think Real is everyone’s dream.
“Zidane or no Zidane, the white jersey [of Madrid] is special but the blue jersey [of Chelsea] suits me well so it does not bother me if I stay.
“For now, it’s the World Cup. As I have said at least 100 times.
“I am at Chelsea and for the moment nobody has made me an offer.”
Another Belgian star Thibaut Courtois has been rumored with a switch to Real Madrid.
