Barcelona hero Xavi has hailed the qualities of Premier League fans Sadio Mane and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang but fears they would flop at Camp Nou were they to join the Catalan club once the transfer window reopens.

The Arsenal and Liverpool attackers shared the Premier League Golden Boot last campaign along with Mohamed Salah and have enjoyed similarly prolific years this season.

Aubameyang has just over a year left remaining on his current deal and has been linked with both Barcelona and their arch-rivals Real Madrid.

Mane, meanwhile, remains an integral part of the Reds that stands on the brink of winning a first ever PL title.

Klopp, however, is already making plans to rejuvenate his forward line in the summer having earmarked Timo Werner as a primary target.

And while Sadio remains content at Anfield, both Spanish giants have been touted with harbouring long-standing interest.

Xavi, who won three UCL titles during his trophy-laden playing career at Barcelona, believes both stars would struggle to adapt to the style of Quique Seitin’s side.

The Spaniard said: ‘Mane and Aubemayang can kill you in open space. But Barcelona need players who know how to move in small spaces.

‘I am thinking about player who would adapt to Barcelona and it’s not easy to find one. Samuel Eto’o was perfect as is Luis Suarez right now.’

Meantime, Juventus are allegedly keen to offload Arsenal-linked Adrien Rabiot ahead of next season.

The 25-year-old star only joined the Old Lady last year, having run down his contract at Paris Saint-Germain.

But now, according to L’Equipe, Bianconeri are determined to sell the Frenchman in the summer transfer market because of his inconsistent performances during the ongoing season.
