Serie A champions Juventus have reportedly joined the race to secure services of Arsenal skipper Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang during the summer transfer window.
The 31-year-old forward is yet to agree on a new deal at the Emirates Stadium as he has been in his final year at the club and Arsenal could be forced to cash in on their top scorer rather risking to lose him for free.
Inter Milan and Barcelona are among the major European teams to have been rumoured with a move for Gabon international forward, and Le 10 Sport reports that Juventus have also been in the race for his services.
The Italian giants have reportedly made initial enquiries regarding his situation and will continue to keep tabs on his future at the club over the coming weeks.
Aubameyang’s current deal expires in 2021, however, the Gunners have allowed a number of key players to enter the final year of their contract in recent times, losing Aaron Ramsey for free and being forced to sell Alexis Sanchez for a cut-price deal, handing Mesut Ozil the most expensive contract in the club’s history to avoid him also departing for free from the Emirates Stadium.
Aubameyang has managed to found back of the net 20 times in 31 games for the North London club across all competitions this campaign, once again topping their scoring charts.
