Serie A defending champions, Juventus plotting swap deal to secure the services of Jorginho from Chelsea
According to a report by football.london, Juventus are plotting a swap deal to lure Italy international from Chelsea when the transfer window will be re-opened this summer.
The midfielder, who followed Maurizio Sarri from Serie A giants Napoli to Stamford Bridge, has been in fine form for the Blues this campaign. Currently, footballing action has been suspended following to the ongoing coronavirus outbreak.
However, prior to that, the 28-year-old midfielder had successfully established himself as a vital player of the squad under Frank Lampard.
Jorginho was instrumental behind Maurizio Sarri’s many successes at Italian giants Napoli, and when the ex-manager took charge of the Blues, he orchestrated a transfer contract that brought the player to the team.
Now, it remains to be seen if he gets tempted to join Serie A champions to reunite with Sarri. The report claims that Juventus are willing to add Miralem Pjanic to sweeten the Blues.
The Bosnian international joined the Serie A defending champions for a fee in the region of €32m. Although he has played regularly this season, it must be noted that his form haven’t been all promising.
Jorginho has become a vital component in the midfield for the Blues and losing him would represent a massive loss.
