Manchester United have already submitted a £62m offer for Arsenal centre-forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, it has been sensationally reported.

The Red Devils are understood to want the Gabon international to replace outgoing Belgium international Romelu Lukaku.

The Belgian is set to depart Old Trafford for Inter Milan as the Serie A giants plot an offer for the former Everton player.

Manchester United want £80 million for Lukaku with Nerazurri’s latest offer consisting of £60 million up front and £15 million in add-ons.

But if the 26-year-old star does leave for Serie A in the next three weeks, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants Pierre-Emerick to replace him

That is according to FcInterNews who claim the Red Devils boss has given his approval to the club’s chief Ed Woodward on carrying out the raid.

Pierre-Emerick was in stunning form for the Gunners last season earning the Golden Boot alongside Liverpool pair Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane.

Meantime, Arsenal and Liverpool have both submitted official bids for Lille attacker Nicolas Pepe, according to a report.

The 24-year-old star is open to a move this summer, and the EPL duo are both very keen to secure his services.
