Tottenham determined to agree on a deal with their direct Premier League rivals Liverpool over Daniel Sturridge this summer.
According to the Mirro reports, the Spurs have identified the Merseyside Reds forward as a potential target ahead of the upcoming summer transfer window.
The report suggested that Spanish forward Fernando Llorente set to leave the club after the season ends, leaving Spurs searching for his replacement and Sturridge seems to be an ideal candidate.
Spurs have the difficult task securing services of quality back-up for their main forward Harry Kane, as they can’t guaranty regular game time to their target that agrees to join the club.
Liverpool themselves have a similar issue and Sturridge has found his game time limited hard at Anfield and seeks an exit from the club after the season ends.
The 29-year-old forward hsa has forced himself back into the teams after spending time out on to West Bromwich Albion last term, however, has been unable to perform regularly for the Jurgen Klopp’s team.
England international forward has only started just two games in the English top-tier this campaign, making a further 11 appearances from the bench.
Meawnhile, Tottenham fear that their direct Premier League rivals Liverpool will hijack their move for Adrien Rabiot after Mauricio Pochetino’s side narrowly missed out on securing the services of the midfielder during the January transfer window according to the reports.
France international midfielder was on the brink of a switch to the Spurs from PSG before his father died and his transfer has been scheduled for the summer.
