Liverpool reportedly planning to make Marko Grujic available for loan for the next season.

The 22-year-old Serbian midfielder has took part in a 13-game stint with the Bluebirds last campaign, helping Cardiff to finish second in the Championship table and secure promotion to Premier League.

Serbian midfielder may find himself on the fringes of the Merseyside Reds senior squad once again after Jurgen Klopp’s side snapped up midfielders Naby Keita from RB Leipzig and Fabinho from Monaco in the off-season.

According to Wales Online, Cardiff are eager to offer Grujic another season-long loan deal for their return to the Premier League with the future of Aron Gunnarsson still remain up in the air.

Grujic has been selected in Serbia’s final 23-man World Cup for the upcoming world-cup tournament in Russia.

Meanwhile, Arsenal and Liverpool look set to miss out on the signing of AS Monaco winger Thomas Lemar, with the Frenchman on the cusp of making the switch to La Liga, reports Spanish publication AS.

Both Arsenal and Liverpool were keen on signing the 22-year-old Frenchman last summer, with the Premier League pair failed to secure his services, while the Merseyside side Reds had considered a January move as a replacement for Brazilian attacker Philippe Coutinho after his shock move to Barcelona.

Monaco were reluctant to sell their star player in the same summer as Kylan Mbappe and Bernardo Silva left the club and while they are hoping to retain his services, are now more willing to cash in on French forward who has failed to maintain last season form.
