Following weeks of speculation, it was finally announced that Maurizio Sarri has become the manager of Juventus.
Now, according to reports on the Express, the Italian manager is wanting to secure services of Chelsea duo Jorginho and Emerson Palmieri.
Midfielder Jorginho is the player Maurizio Sarri is wanting to sign. The pair have been working both at Napoli and Chelsea and Italian manager hopes to be reunited with him once again.
Jorginho has been a regular at the West London club and there’s no doubt that Sarri will want to mentor him once again at the Allianz Stadium.
Emerson is another player who the former Napoli boss reportedly hopes to sign from the Blues. After having a brilliant 2018/19 season at Stamford Bridge,
Sarri is keen to sign Brazilian-born who has previously been linked with a move to Juventus.
The 24-year-old defender had slowly become the first choice defender under Sarri and he was one of the best players for the Blues during the Europa League glory.
Sarri is not wasting any time when it comes to securing services of quality players Juventus side next campaign, and neither are the Blues when it comes to appointing a new head-coach.
Meanwhile, Chelsea will offer Willian a new two-year deal, a move which goes against the club’s policy of giving anything other than a short-term contract to players over the age of 30.
The Blues stance appears to have changed, however, with the club facing the chance of being banned from signing new players for the next two windows.
The West London club are now happy to give the Brail international a contract which will expire at the end of the 2020-21 season.
