Manchester United have reportedly joined in the crowded race to sign Napoli central midfielder Fabian Ruiz.
The Spanish midfielder has been a regular for Gli Azzurri this campaign, scoring a goal versus Lecce and providing two assists in 22 matches across all competitions.
Barcelona and Real Madrid are both interested in the signing of the Spaniard according to Mundo Deportivo. A report from CalcioNapoli24 claims that the Red Devils have also joined the race to sign Fabian Ruiz who is currently valued at £80 million. The report also suggests that the 23-year-old central midfielder could leave Naples in June.
Fabian Ruiz has done well for Serie A giants this season so far, and he could be a decent addition to Manchester United’s line-up, especially if Paul Pogba leaves the club. If that happens, the Spanish midfielder would be a suitable replacement and could also find game time under Norwegian boss, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Though, Napoli would prefer having Fabian Ruiz for a few years and might attempt to fend off interest from any suitors by setting a high asking price for him.
