Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has hailed Jack Grealish for his performance in Aston Villa’s draw versus Manchester United but remained coy over a possible move for the attacking midfielder.
Jack Grealish scored a stunning opener at Old Trafford to put Aston Villa ahead in the first half as he curled an effort beyond David De Gea.
But Manchester United pulled level before half time and took the lead in the 64th minute through Victor Lindelof before Tyrone Mings netted an equaliser for Aston Villa.
Jack Grealish impressed throughout the game which has led to calls for the 24-year-old attacking midfielder to leave Aston Villa for a more high-profile club.
Asked if Jack Grealish is a player who Manchester United would target, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer replied with a smile: ‘I can’t talk too much about other teams’ players if they are Man United calibre or targets.
‘But fantastic goal. I think he’s hit one of those corners that I’ve hit a couple of times.
‘It was a great finish but then again we should defend better and show him down the left.
‘But what a goal and he played a good game, definitely.’
