Manchester United are weighing up a move for Bundesliga outfits Eintracht Frankfurt centre-forward Sebastien Haller should Romelu Lukaku depart from Old Trafford this summer.
Belgian international forward is a transfer target for Inter Milan and their new head-coach Antonio Conte, however, the Red Devils will only sell if the Italian side meets their £80million price tag.
Should Lukaku leave, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be in the market for a new striker and has identified Haller as a potential target for them according to ESPN reports.
The 24-year-old attacker has been superb up front for Eintracht Frankfurt this term scoring 15-goals in the German top-tier.
Haller has managed to found back of the net 20 times last campaign and chipped in with a further 12 assists in all competition, as he proved an excellent partner for Jovic who has recently signed for La Liga giants Real Madrid.
United have kept tabs on Haller in recent months during Eintracht Frankfurt’s Europa League run, however, are yet to formalise their interest in the frontman.
The Red Devils will only firm up their interest in Haller if Inter signs Lukaku, however, will face stiff competition from rival teams for his signature.
Solskjaer is demanding a huge summer of signings and exits at Old Trafford and is closing in on his first deal.
