Man Utd have increased their efforts to secure services of English right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka ahead of the next season.
Solskjaer’s side are one of a number of top teams in the English top-tier to have been rumoured with the £40m-rated full-back, along with Man City and Arsenal.
Teams across the continent are also keeping close tabs on Wan-Bissaka’s performances, with Dortmund and Bayern Munich rumoured with a move for his signature.
With interest in the Premier League top teams growing, The Sun reported that the Red Devils know they have to be ready to make their move as see Crystal Palace defender as an ideal replacement for long-serving defender Antonio Valencia who is likely to leave the club this summer.
An Old Trafford source is quoted by the publication as saying: “Scouts were at Burnley a few weekends back along with Brighton. That is around a dozen times since December.
“They really do like what they see, and all the reports back are excellent. He is definitely someone close on the radar. [Antonio] Valencia is leaving, and Ashley Young is getting on in years. Diogo Dalot is excellent, but you can’t rely on him too heavily.”
The Eagles head-coach Roy Hodgson recently insisted that English full-back Wan-Bissaka is ‘not bothered’ with the speculations over his future.
Meanwhile, Manchester United eyeing move for another English defender Harry Maguire, the Leicester City man has been on the Red Devils radar since the last summer and it seems that they are planning to renew interest in his signature after the end of the current campaign.
