Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United are among 18 teams interested in Benfica stopper Odisseas Vlachodimos, according to the reports.

The Premier League giants are all on the lookout for the new stopper in Europe and one has caught the eye in Portugal.

Arsenal and Chelsea have both already signed goalkeeper this year, with paying the club record fee for Kepa Arrizabalaga while Bernd Leno joined the Emirates Stadium.

But both teams will see their back-up options enter the final years of their careers, with both Chelsea’ back-ups Rob Green and Willy Caballero coming to the end of their deals.

Petr Cech will also see his current terms expire next summer and has already spoke about playing for his future this year.

And United are locked in talks with David de Gea over a new contract but are eyeing options should a deal fail to be made.

As well as the English giants, several team on the continent are interested in the 24-year-old including German giants Bayern Munich and RB Leipzig.

The Bavarians have been keeping tabs on ex-Germany Under-21 star since his time playing for Stuttgart second team seven years ago.

However, the Bundesliga champions gave him a miss as they were narrowing in on Manuel Neuer at the time.

According to Record, 18 clubs are now in the hunt for the 24-year-old goalkeeper.

Vlachodimos only joined the Portuguese club from Panathinaikos.

Cech has recently confirmed that he could leave the club this summer.

“I’m in the last year of the contract so I guess it depends on my performances, the way I play and the way I stay fit throughout the season,” Cech told the Evening Standard.

“Then we’ll see what happens next.

“I have to work hard not only to make sure the manager picks me for the weekend but as well that he sticks with me.”
