Chelsea long-term target Nicolo Barella will be scouted by their direct Premier League rivals Manchester United this weekend, according to the reports.
The Italy international playmaker has been rumoured with a move away from Serie A outfits Cagliari this summer after an impressive season has seen him catch the eye of a number of top European teams.
And according to Gazzetta dello Sport , the Red Devils are set to send a scout to keep close tabs on Barella in action this weekend, with Cagliari taking on Napoli this weekend.
Man Utd are believed to be interested in making a move for the Italian midfielder this summer as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer plans a massive squad overhaul ahead of the 2019/20 season.
Reports from earlier this year had claimed that the 22-year-old turned down an approach from the Blues in January, in favour of staying in Sardinia.
However, the West London club will be hoping they can convince him to take the leap and make a move to Stamford Bridge in the summer.
Meanwhile, Chelsea have reportedly identified Bournemouth forward Ryan Fraser as top transfer target this summer.
Fraser has enjoyed an excellent season in the Premier League at, with seven goals and 13 assists in 36 appearences in the English top-tier.
However, the Scottish attacker has just over one year left on his current deal, and it appears likely that he will not sign fresh terms with the South-coast outfit.
