Manchester United are reportedly planning to make a summer move for AS Roma centre-back Kostas Manolas.
The Red Devils will be in the market for a new defender during the summer transfer window, and a number of players have already been rumoured with a summer move to Old Trafford in order to transform them for the title contenders.
However, according to Leggo, the Red Devils are giving thought to meeting the release clause of AS Roma centre-back.
Greek international defender has enjoyed an impressive five-year spell at the Stadio Olimpico, however, the player he will be available as little as £31m in the summer.
The Red Devils could potentially regard Greek defender as value for money, with Man Utd boss, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer also keen to strengthen other areas of his starting XI.
Meanwhile, Manchester United have reportedly planning to make a £90m bid for Napoli key man Kalidou Koulibaly.
The Red Devils are expected to spend heavily when the transfer window will be re-opened in the summer as they look to challenge for the Premier League title next season.
Man Utd are currently sixth in the Premier League table and if they miss out top-four finish it could be an issue with Koulibaly is believed to be keen on to play Champions League football next season.
