Real Madrid forward Marco Asensio has reportedly decided that he is ready to leave Santiago Bernabeu and is keen on to make the switch to Old Trafford.
The 23-year-old has struggled for playing time at the Los Blancos this term, making just his second start of 2019 win over a 4-1 win against Valladolid.
However, after the exit of Santiago Solari and the arrival of former Real Madrid boss, Zinedine Zidane seems to decrease the Red Devils chances to lure Spaniard at Old Trafford.
Asensio has been informed of the Red Devils long-term interest in him and, according to Don Balon, he is keen on to play for Manchester United.
However, the report indicates that the Red Devils will not pay more than £69m for the Spaniard, which is believed to be below the Los Blancos asking price.
In 32 gaems for Real Madrid this term, the Mallorca academy product has a found back of the net 13 times and assists.
Meanwhile, another Real Madrid star Isco has been rumoured with a switch to Old Trafford after failing to secure a place in the Los Blancos starting XI,
However, like Asensio, he could remain at Old Trafford since the arrival of Zinedine Zidane who is believed to be a huge admirer of Spanish playmaker.
Man Utd goalkeeper David de Gea has reportedly indicated that he is prepared to remain at Old Trafford by signing new long-term contract.
The 28-year-old Spaniard has been involved in a contract standoff with Manchester United for a number of months, forcing the team to trigger a one-year contract extension automatically.
De Gea is therefore tied down until the end of next campaign. However, the Red Devils may have to cash in later this year if they don’t want to risk losing him for free in the nearby future.
