Man Utd and Arsenal have made contact over the potential signing of PSG centre-back Presnel Kimpembe according to the reports.
The 23-year-old defender is a regular at French champions and played under Unai Emery when he was in charge at French capital team Emery is a huge fan of the defender and according to France Football, keeps him on top of his wishlist ahead of the 2019/20 season.
The Gunners have asked for information about Kimpembe’s availability ahead of the next season, however, so too has their direct Premier League rivals, Manchester United.
Kimpembe has been contacted with PSG until 2023, so PSG will be under no pressure to sell the 23-year-old defender.
The French champions centre-back is keen on making a switch to the English top-tier at some stage in his career. However, it remains to be seen if he would be open to the move this summer.
Arsenal and Manchester United are on the hunt for a new centre-back this summer, with Ole Gunnar Solkjaer’s side pursuit of a new defender dating back to last year.
Napoli’s Kalidou Koulibaly and Leicester City’s Harry Maguire have been previously rumoured with a switch to Old Trafford, however, both players are valued at around £80million.
