England international Jadon Sancho has not ruled out a return to his native England or a career switch to the Spanish top-flight, La Liga.
The England youngster had a record-breaking first campaign in the Bundesliga at Borussia Dortmund.
And the 19-year-old has opened the door to making a move back to the Premier League, with the Red Devils tipped as the most likely suitors.
The former Manchester City ace has already scored two and had three assists this campaign, adding to his 12 goals and 17 assists the previous term.
And after the Red Devils’ struggles this season — not to mention those of Zinedine Zidane’s Real Madrid – there has been speculation he could depart for a fee of over £100m.
Discussing a possible transfer to the Premier League, Jadon Sancho said: “I can’t tell the future but I wouldn’t mind. La Liga I wouldn’t mind also, but we don’t know yet.”
But for now he is content with life at the Signal Iduna Arena, where die Borussen are hoping to launch a trophy challenge.
The club have after started with two wins and a defeat after beating Niko Kovac’s Bayern Munich in the Super Cup.
The German top-flight has become a fruitful testing ground for some of the United Kingdom’s top footballing talent in the latest years.
Arsenal’s 19-year-old Reiss Nelson joined Sancho in Bundesliga last season before returning to North London.
Ex-Everton attacker Ademola Lookman signed for RB Leipzig during the summer, while 18-year-old Ethan Ampadu has joined on loan.
