Manchester United reportedly remain keen on to sign Leicester City centre-back Harry Maguire in the summer.
The centre-back has signed a new deal at the King Power Stadium earlier last season, which ties the England international at King Power Stadium until the 2023 year.
The Red Devils have long been rumoured with an approach for the defender, however, as the 20-times English champions look to make changes to their defensive end.
The Foxes allegedly value Maguire in the region of £90m, however, the London Evening Standard reports that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side have not been put off by that price-tag.
The report claims that the Red Devils officials feel that the asking price is ‘excessive’, although it is not enough for 20-times English champions to end their interest in England international defender.
Manchester City are also believed to be keeping tabs on the situation.
Meanwhile, Manchester United could reportedly renew their interest in signing of Tottenham Hotspur defender Danny Rose.
The 28-year-old defender has dropped hint that he could be on his way out from Tottenham Hotspur this summer, with Mauricio Pochettino’s side believed to plan to add new full-backs ahead of the next campaign.
The Red Devils have previously been credited with an interest in Rose, who has played 37 games for the North London club during the 2018-19 season helping team to finish the season on top-four of the Premier League table and playing the Champions League final.
According to the Manchester Evening News, Ole Gunnar Solskjer’s side could swoop for Rose to provide competition for Luke Shaw who has been named as the club’s Player of the Year for the 2018-19 season.
