Manchester United will reportedly make a move for Monaco star Youri Thielemans if Paul Pogba decides to leave Old Trafford this summer.
Pogba’s future at Old Trafford remains up in the air, with Juventus and Real Madrid both believed to be interested in securing the services of the world-cup winning midfielder ahead of the 2019-20 season.
According to The Independent, should the Frenchman depart then the Red Devils will make an attempt to lure Tielemans at Old Trafford, with the Belgium international has had an impressive loan spell at Leicester City on in the second half of the last year.
Tielemans recently revealed that he was ‘flattered’ to be rumoured with a switch to Old Trafford.
The 22-year-old managed to found back of the net five times for the French club in the first half of the 2018-19 season before contributing three goals and five assists in 13 Premier League games for Brendan Rodgers side.
Tielemans is believed to be valued at £40m by his Ligue 1 club, however, Man Utd will face securing his services with Leicester City boss, Brendan Rodgers seems to be impressed with 22-year-old midfielder ad plans to lure him at King Power Stadium for the next season.
However, if Paul Pogba decides to remain at Old Trafford the Red Devils might be still interested in luring Tielemans as a replacement for Ander Hererra who is believed to be on his way to PSG after refusing to extend his stay with the 20-times English champions.
