Manchester United are reportedly planning to make a move for French midfielder Adrien Rabiot as he prepares to depart from PSG at the end of June.
The 24-year-old defensive minded midfielder has not played for the French giants since December after failing to agree on a new deal.
The Frenchman has played more than 220 games during his time with the Ligue 1 giants, however, claiming he five trophies in France.
Serie A champions are amongst the teams to be heavily rumoured with a move, however, according to the Manchester Evening News, the Red Devils are interested in securing the midfielder on a free ahead of the 2019-20 season.
Rabiot broke into the first team at French champions back in 2012 and had been a regular for them before making his final appearance against Strasbourg on December 5 since than he has been left out from the squad.
Man Utd also eyeing a move for another defensive midfielder Idrissa Gueye.
Manchester United have already left short in the midfield area after the exit of Marouane Fellaini back in January and Ander Herrera who has announced his departure from Old Trafford ahead of the 2019/20 season and Idrissa Gueye seems to be an ideal replacement for the Spaniard,
Gueye has been one of the best defensive midfielders in the Premier League and could help Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side to compete for all possible trophies next season.
Meanwhile, the Red Devils have reportedly made an offer in excess of £35m for Lyon forward Moussa Dembele as the rebuild at Old Trafford prepares to start.
