Premier League giants Manchester United are set to hand a fresh long-term deal to left-back Luke Shaw this month.
A daily tabloid newspaper The Daily Express, via The BBC, Englands international will put pen to paper on a five-year deal to commit his future to the club.
Shaw has been in stunning form at left-back this campaign and was named the player of the month for his productive performances back in August.
The Englishman has struggled with form and fitness throughout his time at Manchester United but appears to be on the way back to his best this season.
The 23-year-old star has made the left-back berth his own after his compatriot Ashley Young dominated the position last campaign and was named in the England squad for the World Cup over Luke.
Shaw has made 75 appearances for the club since joining from Premier League outfit Southampton (for an undisclosed fee thought to be around £35 million) in 2014.
This season, in all competitions (Premier League, EFL Cup, Champions League), Luke Shaw has made 9 appearances, netted 1 goal and provided 1 assist for Red Devils.
