Sergej Milinkovic-Savic will reportedly sign a new bumper deal with Serie A giants Lazio before the end of the month.
Milinkovic-Savic has found back of the net 14 times and provided nine assists during an impressive 2017-18 campaign with Lazio, and a number of teams – including Man United and La Liga giants Real Madrid – have been linked with his services.
Last month, Rome-based teams president Claudio Lotito said that the midfielder “is the best young player” in the world at the moment, and suggested that he would not be sold less than £100m fee.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, having managed to keep hold of Serbian midfielder during the summer transfer window, Italian giants are now confident of signing the Serbian to a new long-term contract before the end of September.
Powerful midfielder was in action for his country at the 2018 World Cup and was one of the best players for his team at the tournament.
Meanwhile, Man Utd are expected to renew interest for Savic in the next summer’s transfer window.
