Long-serving Liverpool trio Daniel Sturridge, Alberto Moreno and Simon Mignolet all expected to leave Anfield stadium this summer after falling out of favour under Jurgen Klopp.
All of them have played for the Merseyside Reds before the arrival of Jurgen Klopp back in 2015 and have gradually been deprived of first-team minutes at the club.
According to the Times, Sturridge and Moreno will leave the club on a free transfer, presenting the opportunity for some good business ahead of the 2019/20 campaign while the Reds are likely to leave the club.
The Belgian stopper was first-choice for a number of campaigns after making a switch to Sunderland back in 2013, however, has been replaced twice by Lorius Karius and now Allison as the Reds no.1 stopper.
Klopp has one of the most dangerous offensive end in Europe including Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah which has only offered English forward fro game time off the bench – even though Shaqiri and Origi are preferred.
Andy Robertson’s fine form since joining from championship club Hull City at the start of last campaign has also shut out Spanish full-back Moreno, so it’s no surprise that Moreno is seeking a way out from the Merseyside Reds.
It’s likely that Reds will splash the money once again this summer which will probably result in more first-teamers making way too, however, that’s just how it works in football.
