West Ham are reportedly preparing a new bumper deal Manuel Lanzini to fend off interest from Tottenham and Liverpool.
The Argentine attacking midfielder has continued to impress for the Hammers this campaign, to found the net for three times and providing five assists despite missing ten Premier League games following the hamstring injury.
The Argentine’s fine form have attracted attention from hosts of European clubs, with Spurs and Liverpool are believed to be interested in securing his services.
Liverpool boss, Jurgen Klopp remains keen to bolster his options in the midfield area having finally agreed to sell Brazilian playmaker Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona during the January transfer window.
The South American attacker still has two years left on his current deal but the Evening Standard claim he will be offered a new contract as soon as the Hammers guarantee to remain in the Premier League.
West Ham United appeared to be heading for the drop earlier in the season under Slaven Bilic. However, results have improved since David Moyes was appointed manager in November.
With ten games of the season left, West Ham are currently 13th in the English top tier three points above from the relegation zone.
Moyes’ side were thrashed 4-1 by Swansea City last weekend, however, and ex-Everton and Man Utd manager said: ‘It was a tough day, but we played a good team in form.
‘We’ve done quite well against the top teams since I’ve been at the club and I thought for periods today we also did quite well.’ West Ham face fellow relegation-battlers Swansea City on Saturday.”
