Liverpool are reportedly planning to make a summer move for PSG defender Layvin Kurzawa in the summer when his current deal with the French giants expires.
That’s according to Spanish outlet Sport – the same report suggests that the 27-year-old Frenchman has already informed PSG that he doesn’t want to sign an extension as he considers options.
Kurzawa has been one of the finest full-backs in Europe, would give support for Andy Robertson and may even challenge him for the starting spot at Anfield.
To get a player of his quality on a free transfer would be a shrewd bit of business by the Merseyside Reds, however, he’d have to be content with limited minutes at the club.
Since the departure of Alberto Moreno, the Merseyside Reds have not brought in a stong replacement and would be forced to play James Milner at as a back-up for Andy Robertson.
The rise of players like Yasser Larouci and Adam Lewis isn’t enough for the Reds that wants to challenge for the English top-tier trophy and Champions League holders.
Liverpool also keen on to sign another PSG star Kylian Mpabbe, however, this transfer seems unrealistic as French giants will do their best to keep him at the club.
