Serie B team Brescia boss Massimo Cellino is reportedly prepared to play hardball with Premier League giants Liverpool and Chelsea when it comes to negotiating a deal for their rising star Sandro Tonali who has been on the radar of top European teams.

The 18-year-old in-demand playmaker is believed to be on the radar of the Premier League giants after impressing in Serie B this season.

According to the sources from Italy, last month suggested that the Merseyside Reds had firmed up their interest in Italian playmaker by making an official approach, however, Serie B side were eager to keep hold of their prized asset ahead of the next season.

According to Calciomercato, former Leeds United owner Cellino is set to ask for a hefty fee from the Blues and Liverpool, however, with the player’s valuation skyrocketing since being called up by the Italy senior side.

Brescia sit top of the Serie B table and likely to make a promotion to Italian top-tier next season following an eight-year absence and Tonali has been the main reason why they are leading the competition.

Tonali has played a vital part in the Biancoazzurri’s push for promotion, starting 20 of their 21 games so far this campaign.

Meanwhile, Liverpool are keen on to sign another Italian sensation Frederico Chiesa who is currently playing for Serie A outfits Fiorentina and the Merseyside Reds are planning to sign either one of them when the transfer window will be re-opened this summer.
