Liverpool should consider a move for German international and Borussia Dortmund attacking midfielder Mario Gotze.
The Merseyside Reds head-coach Jürgen Klopp has already strengthened his squad in key areas during the summer transfer window, splashing out close to £180 million for four players.
It could be argued that he still needs to add another forward to his ranks, but, if he is to guide his side to Premier League trophy.
The Reds sold Philippe Coutinho to Spanish giants, Barcelona during the January transfer window, and despite the fact that they have signed Switzerland international forward Xherdan Shaqiri this summer, there is still room for another talented forward.
With this in mind, the Red should consider a move for Borussia Dortmund’s attacker Mario Götze, who could be available for just £18 million.
The 26-year-old forward has struggled with injuries in recent years, however, for that price, he is a bargain signing.
Götze’s career peaked in the summer of 2014 when his goal against Argentina helped Germany to claim the world-cup title.
The 26-year-old is a big fan of the Liverpool head-coach Jurgen Klopp, according to the Liverpool Echo, and he could be tempted to work with him once again.
