Liverpool will reportedly battle with the likes of Manchester United, Barcelona and Real Madrid to sign Kai Havertz next summer.
Bayer Leverkusen’s attacking midfielder Havertz is expected to be a sough-after player after an excellent few campaigns in the Bundesliga.
The 20-year-old ace contributed 20 goals and seven assists in 42 games across all competitions last term, with 17 of those strikes coming in Bundesliga.
He has two goals in two matches this season having netted in Leverkusen’s 3-2 opening weekend victory over Paderborn.
German TV station Sport1 report that Jurgen Klopp’s side will be one of eight major European sides in the hunt to sign Havertz.
