Liverpool have reportedly set a £15million price tag for England international forward Daniel Sturridge this summer as foreign clubs have expressed interest in his signature.
It’s been a tough few years for English forward, who never really kicked on after an absolutely world class 2013/14 season, with injuries held his progress down.
With so many now clearly ahead of him in the pecking order at Anfield Liverpool are ready to part ways with the experienced forward.
The Telegraph reported that Liverpool prepared to sell for just £15m, which is a very generous price for a player who has been a proven goalscorer in the Premier League if he remains healthy.
The Telegraph’s report links Fenerbahche and Sevilla as among the England international’s suitors after his failed loan spell at West Brom.
Not many English players move abroad, however, it’s easy to imagine it could be a good next step for 28-year-old forward as his career seems in need of something of a shake-up and departure from Anfield could help him to restore his career.
