Liverpool are reportedly planning to sell African midfielder Naby Keita just a year after luring him at Anfield from RB Leipzig.

The 24-year-old versatile midfielder has joined Reds from RB Leipzig in a £48m deal last season and has played 26 games in all competitions.

Liverpool head-coach Jurgen Klopp has not been truly amazed over by the Guinea midfielder, however, and reports from Britain suggest that the Reds could try and cash in on his signature.

The Merseyside Reds are supposedly planning to take a £10m on Keita if it means they can get him off their books and sign his replacement ahead of the next campaign.

German duo Dortmund and Bayern Munich are rumoured to have already held transfer talks with agents of the players.

Meanwhile, Liverpool long-term target James Rodriguez has reportedly ruled out a permanent transfer to German champions Bayern Munich at the end of the current campaign, leaving his career in limbo giving the chance to Premier League teams to make move for his signature.

The Colombia international attacker has spent the past two campaigns on a season-long loan deal at the Allianz Arena from La Liga giants Real Madrid, where his career unlikely to continue since the return of Zinedine Zidane.

Frenchman’s dogout combined with the arrival of fellow non-EU player Eder Militao, is believed to have ended any hopes Colombian forwrd to play one again for the Los Blancos.

Despite a vast improvement in form at German champions in recent months, though, Spanish media outlet Marca reports that the 26-year-old is not interested in staying at Allianz Arena.
