Liverpool are expected fend off interest from Premier League giants Manchester City and sign highly-rated Trabzonspor playmaker Abdulkamir Omur, according to The Mirror.
Omur, widely touted as the ‘best young prospect Turkish football’, and he has been valued at £27million and Jurgen Klopp is said to have kept an eye on his progress since he broke into the Trabzonspor first team last campaign.
With England international midfielder Adam Lallana looking increasingly likely to depart Anfield in the next year, the Merseyside Reds will be looking for a long-term replacement and the 19-year-old seems to be an ideal candidate.
It’s believed that the Trabzonspor would be looking to keep Turkish wonderkid until the summer, so whether Lallana leaves the club in January or at the end of the season could decide whether a deal will happen in the nearby future or not.
English playmaker has been struggling with injuries since his £25million switch from Southampton back in 2014 and has been limited to just two appearences in he English top-tier this term.
His former team and struggling Süper Lig side Fenerbahce are believed to be interested in the 30-year-old, however, it’s not clear whether Klopp is keen on to let him go on a permanent or sent him out on loan.
