Liverpool are reportedly planning to make a January move for Serie A giants Napoli forward Lorenzo Insigne.
the Reds currently sit four points clear at the top of the English top-tier, and have also progressed to the last-16 stage of UCL.
Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Xherdan Shaqiri have all been in fine form the Reds this campaign, but according to Calciomercato, a move for Insigne is considered when the transfer window will be re-opened in January.
The report suggested that the Reds are prepared to pay £90m to secure the services of Italy international attacker who has found back of the net 10 times in 22 games for Napoli in all competitions this campaign.
Insigne has scored 73 goals in 286 games for Napoli since breaking into the first team.
Meanwhile, Tottenham and Liverpool have been handed a boost as Benjamin Pavard has once again turned down rumours that he is set to join Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich.
Both the Spurs and Reds are apparently keen to snap up Frenchman in a £35m deal.
The Daily Mirror recently reported that the Merseyside Reds are monitoring the 22-year’s progress in Bundesliga, with a clause in his Stuttgart deal allowing him to leave from the German club next summer for €40m should the Bundesliga team fail to qualify for Champions League next campaign.
Reports had claimed that an agreement was in place for him to join Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich in 2019, however, the player insists this is not the case.
He told Le Parisien: “I have not signed anything with Bayern.
“The interest of such a club makes me happy, but today I am focused on Stuttgart. I do not think about next summer.”
