Liverpool Given Massive Boost After Spanish Giants Cooled Their Interest In 24-year-old Spanish Winger
Tottenham and Liverpool have been given a boost after Spanish giants Atletico Madrid cooled their interest in AC Milan winger Suso.
The Spaniard has found his best form last season and it has led him to be linked with a move to hosts of European clubs.
La Liga runner-ups had expressed a strong interest in securing the services of Spaniard, who began his youth career with Spanish club Cadiz before making the switch to Liverpool back in 2010.
However, Atletico Madrid have since splashed out on Monaco winger Thomas Lemar – who was a top target for Arsenal and Liverpool.
And as a result, according to Tuttosport, the Spanish club are no longer in the running to make a move for Suso.
That will come as good news to both Tottenham and Liverpool, who have been tracking the youngster for some time now.
The Merseyside Reds are keen on to re-sign Suso, three years after they sold him to AC Milan for £1m.
The Spurs, meanwhile, are looking to bring in an attacking midfielder ahead of the next season in order to compete for Premier League title.
Liverpool have revealed their away kit for the 2018-19 campaign and it looks absolutely stunning.
The design marks a return to the purple colour last sported by the team back in 2012 and uses new technology designed.
“keep moisture away from the skin to help keep players fresh and dry from first to final whistle”.
“As a player the most important thing is how the shirt feels and performs,” said Liverpool’s record signing Virgil van Dijk. “This kit gives us the confidence to play to the best of our ability away from home. We have the best travelling support in football and I’m excited to run out in front of our fans wearing this strip.”
The purple kit also includes the ’96’ season attributes, encased by eternal flames, on the purple collar in recognition of the tragic events at Hillsborough back in 1989 which saw 96 Reds supporters to lose their lives.
The new jersey is available to Liverpool fans from today through New Balance.
