Liverpool Captain Defends Jurgen Klopp's Decision to Replace Dejan Lovren

Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson has claimed that any of the Reds players could have been taken off in their 4-1 defeat against Tottenham Hotspur.

The Merseyside Reds were destroyed at Wembley by Tottenham Hotspur, and early goals from Kane and Sone Heung-Min have led Mauricio Pochetino’s side to confident victory.

Liverpool centre-back Dejan Lovren was one of the best performers on the pitch as he has caught out by a high ball over the top for the Harry Kane’s first goal and was a fault for the second goal as well. Jurgen Klopp has replaced Croatian defender after playing 31 minutes o and Henderson has defended Jurgen Klopp’s decision to take off Lovren.

“It is hard for us to come out and defend ourselves. It was not good enough. Tottenham deserved to win. We are a fantastic team but we need to work on some things to put it right,” Henderson told BBC Sport after the game.

“We didn’t start well. We need to be ready for the game. I know Dejan Lovren came off but it could have been any of us that came off. We got back into it but concede a sloppy goal that kills us. A disappointing day and frustrating.

“We will do everything we can to change it. We have to keep working hard. Deserved criticism will come our way. We need a reaction quickly and bounce back in training and games. But I believe we can.”

Liverpool Will Demand Explosive Winger From Barcelona For Philippe Coutinho

Liverpool head-coach Jurgen Klopp will demand to involve Gerard Deulofeu in a deal for Philippe Coutinho when Barcelona returns for his head in January.

The ex-Everton attacker is believed to be in the plans of Jurgen Klopp and wants him at Anfield if Brazilian playmaker leaves the club.

The Spain giants are expected to reignite their pursuit of 25-year-old Liverpool star when the transfer window will be reopened in January.

And according to Spanish source Barcelona head-coach, Ernesto Valverde has asked the club to sign Coutinho in order ot compete for all possible trophies.

However, to land the 25-year-old,  Barcelona could lose their summer signing Gerrard Deulofeu.

Barcelona activated their buy-back clause and re-signed explosive Spaniard from Everton.

Deulefeu faces a swift exit and returns to Everton’s bitter rivals Liverpool in order to help Barcelona to land Philippe Coutinho.

Jurgen Klopp Plotting January Move For 18-year-old Attacking Midfielder

Liverpool are reportedly planning to make a move for Maccabi Petah Tikva attacking midfielder Manor Solomon during the January transfer window.

The 18-year-old Israel’s attacker has made his debut for his club Hapoel Haifa almost a year ago and he has gone on to make 29 appearances founding the net for four times last campaign.

Solomon was recently called up to the Israel national team, making 7 appearances for Haifa this term scoring two goals.

Reports claim that the Merseyside Reds have sent representatives to Israel to keep a close eye on Solomon’s progress and it’s believed that they will lodge January€ 5million bid for his signature.

The Reds head-coach Jurgen Klopp has a reputation for developing young talent and Solomon could be handed the chance to take the next step in his career with the Premier League giants.
