The injury sustained by Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah at the end of Reds Premier League fixture with Leicester City is allegedly better than the fans feared.
Moments before the Merseyside Reds netted a late winner against the Brendan Rogers side, Salah had to be withdrawn after a late challenge from Hamza Choudhury.
The tackle was condemned by the Reds boss, Jurgen Klopp, who suggested that the midfielder needed to adapt his game to not put opposition players at risk.
However, David Maddock, a journalist from The Mirror, has said on Twitter that the knock picked up by Salah was ‘not serious’.
The Reds will hope to have Egyptian forward available for their next Premier League fixture, as it is one of the most important games for Liverpool as they will face their arch-rivals Manchester United.
Meanwhile, Serie A giants Inter Milan are reportedly set to rival Real Madrid in their pursuit of Liverpool key man Mohamed Salah.
The 27-year-old has repeatedly been rumoured with a switch to La Liga giants, despite winning the Champions League with the Jurgen Klopp’s side last campaign and again lifting the Premier League Golden Boot which he shared with his fellow teammate Sadio Mane and Arsenal centre-forward Piere Emerick Aubameyang.
Don Balon now reports that Serie A giants, who have won six games out of six in Serie A this campaing under Antonio Conte, are planning to make a shock summer move for Egyptian superstar.
