Liverpool are reportedly interested in signing of Napoli central midfielder Fabian Ruiz after having a bid for Real Madrid playmaker, Isco rejected.
According to El Desmarque (as cited by the Daily Mail) , The Merseyside Reds have shifted their focus to the 23-year-old midfielder after La Liga giants rejected their £47 million bid for Spanish attacking midfielder.
Currently valued at €60 million as per Transfermarkt, Fabian Ruiz has done pretty well for Napoli since joining them from Real Betis, featuring in 66 games for them with eight goals and five assists to his name.
This campaign, the Spanish international midfielder has played in all but one of Gli Azzurri’s games, scoring a goal versus Lecce while providing two assists against Atalanta and Hellas Verona. Fabian Ruiz was also massively linked to Manchester United by CalcioNapoli24.
The 23-year-old ace is among the finest central midfielders in Serie A, but Liverpool have a number of quality players in that department that include Naby Keita, Jordan Henderson, Georginio Wijnaldum, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Fabinho.
Hence, it seems very unlikely that the Merseyside Reds will make a move for him.
