The Senegal international’s current contract runs until 2023 and offering him a new long-term contract is believed to be a priority for the Merseyside Reds.
With Mane continuing to play a vital role in the Reds pursuit of more silverware and given he’s seemingly enjoying his football and playing at on top-level there doesn’t seem to be much reason for him to make a switch to another team in the nearby future.
Contract renewal could suit both player and the club, and it would certainly be a welcome bit of positive news after the recent reports claiming that Real Madrid are interested in the signing of Senegalese international forward.
