The Spanish giants have cooled their interest in Rabiot after securing the services of Ajax starlet Frenkie de Jong instead, and The Mirror reports that they have now looked other position to strengthen ahead of the next season.

The news will come as a huge boost for Arsenal and Liverpool who have been keeping tabs on Rabiot since the last season.

Rabiot has not featured for PSG since December 11 having been cut from the team after refusing o sign contract extension with the club.

Unai Emery has identified Rabiot as an ideal replacement for Aaron Ramsey who will leave the club this summer after agreeing on personal terms with Juventus, while Liverpool see him as an upgrade fro Jordan Henderson who has struggled to show his best performance.
