Galatasaray are looking to sign Liverpool summer signing Xherdan Shaqiri on loan for the second half of the campaign.
The Swiss forward has been used mostly as a back-up option by Jurgen Klopp since arriving from relegated Stoke City in a £12 million deal during the summer transfer window.
The attacking midfielder saw his stock rise in October with a goal against Cardiff City and assists in the victories against Huddersfield Town and Red Star Belgrade, but Galatasaray are supposedly convinced that they can tempt the Reds to loan out the player.
Tuttomercatoweb claims that the 27-year-old is not happy with his conditions and will consider asking for a temporary switch when the transfer window reopens in two months’ time.
Jurgen Klopp has handed Xherdan Shaqiri three starts in all competitions this season, two of those coming in the Premier League.
It was vivid since the transfer in summer that Xherdan Shaqiri would be a backup for Roberto Firmino and Daniel Sturridge.
It remains to be seen if Jurgen Klopp will add the position of classical No.10 and include the Switzerland international in the starting lineup.
