Liverpool have reportedly identified Swansea City forward Jordan Ayew as a potential target this summer.
Swansea City are looking to sell several players of their highest-earners following their relegation from England last campaign, with the Ayew brothers Jordan and Andre are also on the list.
Football Ghana reports that the Merseyside Reds are considering a move for Jordan as the Reds head-coach Jurgen Klopp looks to increase the strength in depth of his team ahead of the new campaign.
Ayew would likely be available for a cut-price fee, with the Welsh team hoping to raise around £12m from the sales of both brothers.
The reports suggested that the Merseyside Reds and Scottish champions Celtic are interested in securing the services of Jordan, while Andre is wanted by Newcastle United and Besiktas as well.
Jordan Ayew has found back of the net 11 times in 44 games across all competitions last campaign.
Meanwhile, Liverpool are also in the market for a new back up striker for Roberto Firmino with Danny Ings and Daniel Sturridge have been their only options.
