Liverpool are reportedly keen on signing the Bundesliga outfits Bayer Leverkusen forward Julian Brandt.
According to the reports from Germany, The Merseyside Reds are lining up a swoop for Brandt as they see him as a perfect alternative to Lyon ace Nabil Fekir.
The 22-year-old German international forward is extremely highly regarded in his homeland and has been selected as part of Germany’s World Cup squad ahead of Man City forward Leroy Sane.
Brandt began his career in German top-tier with Leverkusen back in 2014 and has since gone on to chalk up to found back of the net 32 times and providing 35 assists in 173 games in all competitions.
The same sources claim that Jürgen Klopp is a huge admirer of German attacker and is considering renewing his interest in his signature after the Reds’ failed to secure services of French forward Nabil Fekir from Lyon.
According to Transfer Markt, the German wonderkid is valued at £35.4m, and that would represent decent value for the Merseyside Reds in today’s market.
Meanwhile, Liverpool are also keeping tabs on Brandt’s international teammate Max Meyer who is set to leave Schalke this summer.
