Sampdoria have reached a deal over a fee with Bordeaux for the signature of Reds linked winger Francois Kamano. Guinea international has been strongly linked with a move away from the Girondins after a fantastic campaign in Ligue 1.
Francois was mooted as a target for the Merseyside club in the closing days of the Premier League transfer window. He now seems destined for a move to Serie A after Blucerchiati reached a breakthrough in talks with French club over a deal to take him to Italy, taking advantage of the fact the transfer window is wide open for the continent.
Two clubs have worked out an agreement for the attacker’s transfer to Serie A this summer. The Italian club have agreed to shell out €11m plus bonuses to get Bordeaux to give their approval to Kamano’s proposed move. However, Sampdoria are yet to work out personal terms with the forward.
The Italian club will be looking to agree on a contract with his representatives over the next few days Liverpool are unable to move for the 23-year-old winger, with the Premier League window closing early, and Blucerchiati have a clear path towards signing him.
Guinean attacker scored ten goals in 37 Ligue 1 matches for Girondins last campaign. He is a regular member of the national team squad which is already a big success for the footballer.
Sampdoria already signed Emil Audero from Juventus, Jakub Jankto from Udinese, Alex Ferrari from Bologna, Fabio Depaoli from Chievo Verona and Julian Chabot from Groningen during this summer
