Real Madrid full-back Dani Carvajal has reportedly emerged as a shock transfer target for Liverpool.
The Merseyside giants are well stocked for right-backs, with Trent Alexander-Arnold and Joe Gomez playing in that role for much of the season in the absence Nathaniel Clyne who has been ruled out since the start of the 2017/18 season.
However, according to Don Balon, Liverpool boss, Jurgen Klopp is believed to have identified Carvajal as a possible addition to his squad.
The 26-year-old Spaniard has spent the last five years at Real Madrid making at least 40 appearances in all competitions in three of the last four campaigns.
Real are also in a strong position if they want to keep Carvajal as Spaniard has signed a long-term contract back in 2017.
Meanwhile, another Real Marid star Lucas Vasquez has been heavily linked with a switch to Premier League.
The Spanish playmaker has been desperate to sign for a team where his role will be increased, and while Liverpool are still in the market for Philippe Coutinho’s replacement, Vasquez could be an ideal addition to Jurgen Klopp’s pacy frontline.
