Liverpool long-term target Julian Brandt is reportedly closing in on a move to Borussia Dortmund.

According to Bild, the German attacker is close to sealing his transfer to direct Bundesliga rivals from Bayer Leverkusen.

The report suggested that Juventus, PSG and Atletico Madrid have all shown strong interest in his signature, alongside Liverpool, in the midfielder ahead of the upcoming summer transfer window.

The 22-year-old forward has started his career as a forward, however, has developed into a central midfielder this campaign, for Bayer Leverkusen and been a star in the Bundesliga with his fine form– recently winning a Bundesliga Player of the Month award after impressive form.

Bild reported that he has already held discussions with Borussia Dortmund and that he has a release clause around €25m at Bayer Leverkusen.

The 23-year-old has found back of the net five times in 30 games for Leverkusen in the Bundesliga this campaign, along with a further three strikes in the German Cup and Europa League.

Meanwhile, Juventus centre-forward Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly urged his team to make a summer move for Liverpool superstar Mohamed Salah.

The Italian champions are keen on to bolster their offensive end when the transfer window reopens in the summer having fallen short once again to claim the Champions League title, although they have wrapped up an eighth consecutive Serie A trophies.

The likes of David De Gea, Matthijs De Ligt and Mauro Icardi are among the high-profile names on their shortlist, while Egyptian forward has also been rumoured with a move to Turin during the second half of the season after reports claimed that Salah has issue with Jurgen Klopp over his role in the team and the speculations started after James Milner took penalty instead of Salah.
