Liverpool full-back Alberto Moreno has reportedly decided that he would like to return to former side Sevilla.
Alberto Moreno left the Spanish club to link up with the Reds back in 2014, and the left-back has gone on to make 139 appearances for the Merseysiders in all competitions.
However, just three of those outings have come during the current season, and the Spaniard is unlikely to consider a new deal with his current deal expiring in the upcoming summer.
According to Marca, Alberto Moreno wants to secure a reunion with Sevilla, who are understood to hold an interest in signing the 26-year-old on a free transfer.
The Premier League giants, who were sensationally defeated in the Champions League, are likely to prefer cashing in on the defender during the January transfer window, but the player could potentially decide to bide his time before having his pick of clubs in eight months time.
It was reported that local rivals Arsenal and La Liga winners Barcelona were willing to launch a bid for the out-of-favour left-back who is destined to become a free agent in the summer as Liverpool hesitate to hand new contract.
