Liverpool are reportedly back in the market for France international midfielder Nabil Fekir, with the odds on the Lyon playmaker making the switch to Anfield being slashed.

The France international was on the verge of joining the Merseyside Reds last summer, only for a deal to break down because of concerns flagged up by his knee injury.

Frenchman has been constantly rumoured with a switch to the English top-tier since then, with Chelsa linked to have rivalled the Reds for the 25-year-old’s services in the upcoming summer transfer window.

According to The Mirror, the Reds may have revived their interest in the forward as a number of bets have been placed on a transfer finally going through in January.

The Ex-Saint-Priest youth academy product Fekir, out of deal at the Groupama Stadium at the end of next campaign, has scored nine times in 19 games this season.

Meanwhile, Chelsea and Liverpool also eyeing move for Fekir’s teammate Tanguy Ndombele who has been one of the key players for Lyon this season.
