Liverpool are reportedly on the verge of beating Chelsea and Man Utd to the signing of 24-year-old Burnley defender Michael Keane.
Former Man Utd defender has impressed across three seasons with Burnley and his performance this year ha attracted interest from the hosts of Premier League clubs.
The Daily Mirror suggest that Liverpool have agreed to personal terms with Chelsea and Man Utd long-term target Michael Keane.
However, it’s believed that England international star is desperate to play Champions League football next season and if Liverpool misses out the top four, he could sign for Chelsea or even Man Utd who could secure European football by winning the Europe League trophy.
It’s believed both United and Chelsea have also expressed a strong interest in the Clarets star over the course of his impressive campaign under Sean Dyche.
Keane came through the academy of Man Utd, however, has failed to secure place in the starting lineup that has seen him moving to Burnley for permanent basis.
Sean Dyche’s side are believed to be demanding around £25million for the 24-year-old centre-back who has impressed through the hole 2016/17 campaign.
